Children’s Health Plano
Since 2023 we have participated in a costume drive for Children’s Health Plano. They collect new costumes for all the resident kiddos that can’t be out trick or treating and otherwise wouldn’t really have a Halloween. They have costumes from toddlers to teen, and also accept adaptive Halloween wear like masks, ears, capes, and other accessories so everybody can partake!
Frisco Family Services
Our Mission: For 30 years, Frisco Family Services has helped members of our Frisco and Frisco ISD communities who are facing hunger, homelessness, and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.
Commitment leads to action!
Through emergency financial assistance, food distribution through our Food Market, seasonal programs, adult life skills classes, and more, we help those in our community who face tough choices between keeping food on their table, keeping utilities connected, or staying in their homes.
Assistance to Local Schools
The last couple years we’ve had a school supply drive over the summer to collect items for local elementary schools!
Also we have started doing a “Stock the Breakroom” promo on our facebook where every quarter or so people can tag and vote for whatever school they are affiliated with, we purchase a decent amount of snack and beverage items from their amazon wish list.
Annual Toy Drive
Every Year, there is a Toy Drive for new, unwrapped toys hosted by the Frisco Police Department and the Frisco Fire Department. They coordinate with Frisco Family Services and display all the toys like a store and underprivileged families can walk through and choose items for their children to give them the Christmas Shopping experience. Retired volunteers come by each week and empty the box and we all, patients included, look forward to this event each year.
